Baby's Keepsake Footprints
These salt dough keepsakes can be made easily and with virtually no cost to you considering the only 3 ingredients needed can probably be found in your kitchen.
1. Simply mix the salt, flour and water in a bowl and form into a neat ball. Then press your dough into any shape (a heart was used in the image above).
2. Lightly press baby's feet into the dough. There are also great for making an ornamental pet paw print because your pet will not get sick from licking the remnants from its paw.
3. Use a toothpick, matchstick or other item to etch baby's name and year into the dough. You can even make an ornament by creating a small hole in the upper section for twine or ribbon.
4. Allow keepsake to completely dry before painting.
