Method 2 (non-glue method)
Materials Needed:
How To Make Floating Bookshelves:
1. Use the tin snips to make two metal tabs in the bottom left and right corners of the bracket. This would be below the 'L' shape in the 1st image. Use the snips or pliers to bend these two metal tabs into a horizontal position.
2. Screw the bracket into the wall. Then slide the cover of the book between two (homemade) tabs and the bottom of the bracket as shown in the image. If you have done this properly, the book will not need to be glued to the bracket.
3. Close the book around the bottom bracket and stack additional books to cover the wall mount.

- brackets (ones with a longer vertical mount than the horizontal part is preferable since we will be making bottom tabs.)
- tin snips
- screwdriver or drill
- screws
