Lollipop Valentine Butterfly
These cute and simple butterflies can be made as a class project, rainy day project, or handmade Valentine's card. They are simply irresistible and kids will love to create them.
Materials Needed:
Note: You can also use patterned scrapbook paper, foam sheets, lace top doily sheets (cut slightly smaller and placed on a solid color), stickers, and glitter.
- red, pink and/or white construction paper
- scissors
- tape or glue
- lollipops

How To Create Your Butterflies:
Step 1: Cut 2 similar size (large) hearts out of the red construction paper and several (small) hearts out of the pink and/or white paper for decoration.
Step 2: Glue or tape the ends of the 2 large hearts together as seen in image. Decorate the butterfly with hearts, glitter, googly eyes, etc... You can also write To and From on these and use them as Valentine cards for your child's class.
Step 3: Use either 2 small slits or tape to secure the lollipop onto the butterfly.
